Prepared Panels: The Core Building Block
Share
What Prepared Panels Are
Prepared panels are the foundation of the Fabric Walls system. Each panel is supplied fully assembled, with the aluminium frame built, the fabric pre‑cut, and the silicone edge applied. This ensures perfect tension and a clean, consistent finish.
Panels are manufactured to the dimensions provided during specification and arrive labelled for straightforward placement on site.
Why Prepared Panels Matter
Prepared panels remove the variables that traditionally make stretched‑fabric systems difficult:
- no on‑site cutting
- no fabric trimming
- no tensioning decisions
- no aluminium calculations
- no risk of mis‑measurement
Installers simply fix the panels in place according to the supplied drawings.
Panel Construction
Each panel consists of:
- a precision‑assembled aluminium frame
- optional brackets for acoustic cores
- pre‑cut fabric with silicone edge
- integrated features when required (e.g., TV or speaker supports)
Panels can be produced in a wide range of sizes to suit the layout of the room or the selected interior kit.
Optional Acoustic Core
When a project requires basic reverberation control, panels can include the baseline acoustic core:
- 12mm PET
- mounted on supplied brackets
- creating an airgap for enhanced absorption
This supports everyday acoustic comfort without turning Fabric Walls into an acoustic engineering system.
How Prepared Panels Work on Your Project
You provide the dimensions.
Fabric Walls produces the drawings.
Panels arrive labelled and ready to install.
This ensures a predictable, repeatable workflow for installers and specifiers.
